we have made the difficult decision to shift our focus away from directly mediating room offers.
Nevertheless, we still strongly believe that Citizen Asylum can be a useful tool in the struggle against deportation, and would like to encourage anyone who has the ability to provide support to do so independently. To this end, we have put together a handbook with tips from our own experience, which we would like to share with you. You can download the how-to guide here and on the page "Get Involved!". If you are not comfortable taking matters into your hands, we would also like to remind you about the wonderful work done by Schlafplatzorga (https://sleepingplaceberlin.wordpress.com/).
As for us, we will continue to promote Citizen Asylum - or Soli-Asyl, as we prefer to call it - as a tool in the fight against deportation on this and other platforms. Moreover, we are already working on a new project: establishing a No Border Assembly in Berlin. So expect to hear from us soon!
